Orca is neo banking app that focuses on bringing accessibility and easibility for users in terms of transferring money within groups.

Orca is a realtime peer-to-peer group mobile wallet. Think Messenger meets Venmo. Our goal is to streamline how Gen Z handles group payments. The Gen Z age group includes those born between 1997 - 2012. Our target audience is the subset of Gen Z that is 18 and older, namely, college students and young adults. Our research and experience indicates that a unique attribute of Gen Z is the propensity to do things together. The average college student is, on average, a part of 63 unique friend groups. This means that oftentimes, one member will pay on behalf of others and will be paid back at a later time. This gets messy as it's easy to forget who paid you back and who hasn't. Orca provides a platform to facilitate the transfer and organization of transactions in groups.
