The most primitive way of learning
Focusing on spaces outside of a classroom, the Duffield Atrium
redesign aims to provide an informal and transformative working
space that facilitates effective engagement and learning all
while maintaining the element of play.
Users should navigate the atrium like a playground experience;
emphasizing different playground focal points and implementing
them into the atrium through improving on transformative
furniture, pod structured spaces, and dining and healing spaces.
01 Concept
Learning models and trends have shifted based on how students interact with each others and how they engage in various activities within the learning environment. We first studied three different learning models and how they have changed over the years.

The Future of Learning
The Playground is the inspiration behind our project. We choose this becase the playground is the place where we were first allowed to either be immersed in individual tasks to achieve certain goals or to collaborate with others to achieve joint goals.
The essence of playground experience and learning experience is same.
